Airdrie Koinonia Christian School is a dynamic, growing school, and we are always looking for dedicated, enthusiastic, born-again Christian teachers. Check this page and the Education Canada Network for new postings.

The successful candidates must agree with our Statement of Faith, have a Bachelor of Education degree and hold (or be eligible for) a valid Alberta teaching certificate. Prior Christian school experience, Bible College education, ACSI certification, and successful experience in teaching or other youth work are also very valuable.

    • Philosophy of Education (500-750 words)
    • Two Letters of Reference related to teaching (Practicum Evaluations are also acceptable)
    • One Letter of Character Reference from a pastor

    • Copy of Canadian Teaching Certificate(s) (If available)
    • Record of Criminal Background check (if available)

Airdrie KCS offers annual contracts to each teacher, realizing that God moves people into different ministries from time to time. Nevertheless, we are looking for teachers who are interested in a career in Christian education and seeking a place of ministry which provides both challenge and security over the long haul. In return, we accept our responsibility to provide appropriately for our teaching staff ("the laborer is worthy of his hire") and offer a comprehensive remuneration and Teacher Benefits package.
