Mexico Mission 2008

Prayer Requests For Anytime!

Please pray for . . .

•           Premium health – physically and spiritually

•     Protection from snakes, insects, stray dogs, the heat, water problems.

•     Good weather

- Our ministry will be greatly hampered if it rains

- We will be living in tents on soil which turns to grease with rain

•     Safe Travels

-  Pray for the bus and van, and especially for Mr. Rempel and Mr. Horwood as they drive long days

- Pray against bus sickness

•     Leaders: Mr. Hughes, Miss Burk, Mr. & Mrs. Horwood, Mr. Stacey

•     Divine Appointments

- We are sincerely asking God to prepare the hearts of those people with whom we need to share the Gospel. Please add your prayers to ours.

•     Christ-like attitudes in even the toughest situations.

•     Team Unity

- We are over 50 people traveling and living together for 12 days. We need God’s love for each other to stay close.

- Pray for us on the bus, in the tents, working as ministry teams, and in the heat.

•     Interpreters (Anette, Estella, Felipe, Blanca, Lucia, Felipe and Jesus) as they work hard to straighten out our words and phrases.

-  The Holy Spirit must lead us and speak through us if we are to accomplish anything for the Kingdom.

-  Pray that the language barrier will be minimized by good use of interpreters, our own limited Spanish, and the Holy Spirit’s prompting.

- Pray that we will have the confidence and joy to enthusiastically proclaim the message of Christ, not only in our speech, but more importantly, in our actions.

•     Pray for each of us as we prepare to teach our Bible lessons, share our testimonies, and practice with our interpreters.

•     Pray for us, that as we try to share what Christ has done in our lives, we would be faithful in our prayer and devotions, so that we would remain strong and focused on our task.

•     Energy to play soccer all week and patience to enjoy the many active children.

•     For participants not to get home sick and for family members left at home.

•     Being far from home and out on the edge for God, we will really be relying on your intercession.

We thank you for your support. We will be praying for you as well.
