I was born in Winnipeg, but was raised in Calgary. I graduated from Crescent Heights High School (go Cowboys!). Wanting to add a little excitement to my life, I left home at 18 years of age and moved to Chattanooga, Tennessee to pursue a University education. I graduated four years later with a Bachelor of Religious Education degree (and a love for cornbread, grits, and black-eyed peas). I have been happily married to Ray for almost 25 years! Together, we have a wonderful 12 year old son, named Logan. He plays on the Defensive line for the Airdrie Storm PeeWee football team, and will be testing for his black belt in Taekwondo in December. His new passion is his electric guitar.
I have always loved working with children, and have always been involved in camp ministries, AWANAS, and Jr. Church/Sunday School. This is my fifth year as an Educational Assistant at AKCS. I pray that I have made an impact for Jesus. The kids sure have made an impact on me!
