Biography

Bachelor of Education - University of Calgary

This is the beginning of my 5th year at AKCS. Previously, I was the educational assisant in ECS, and for the 2nd year, I am teaching elementary French, and working as an educational assistant in grade 2. This year, my newest educational endeavour is teaching grade 1 music.

I am blessed to have a wonderful family. My sons, Noah, 12 and Jarod, 11 attend AKCS and Phil, my husband of 16 years, occasionally plays guitar for our parent care meetings.

I have been involved in children's ministries for over 20 years as a Sunday school teacher, youth leader, and Vacation Bible School director.

My latest passion is running and you can spot me hitting the trails around Airdrie on any given day. I consider working at AKCS a privilege and speaking into the lives of children a gift from God.
