Biography

Bio: Education: B. Ed, University of Calgary, three courses away from finishing an M. Div. at Ambrose University College.

Years Teaching: Twenty One (Four Years at Taber Christian School, and seventeen at AKCS). After being here this long, the reason that I love working at AKCS is that I am able to recycle my really bad jokes to a new generation of students every year!!

The reason I teach here is because this is a place where the Spirit of God is present-present in the staff and present in the students (even if it doesn't always look like it), and I've learned over the years to trust the movement of the Holy Spirit, because he knows best.

A little about me: I am married to Kathy, my wife of (thinking, thinking...) 21 years (22 in December). I have three wonderful girls that I am very proud of- Emilia, the oldest, who is currently studying at Ambrose University College, working on a double major in Science and Music; Caitlin, who is in grade ten here at AKCS, and is taking voice and flute lessons; and Tanya who is in grade nine here at AKCS, and is taking voice and guitar lessons.

I am heavily involved with Fine Arts here at the school, teaching Kindergarten Music this year, Grade four recorder, Grade Five and Six English Handbells, Grade 7-12 Guitar, and Grade 9-12 Senior High Choir.
