Principal
I began teaching at AKCS in 1996 as the grade five teacher. After five years in that role, I began teaching in the junior high, mostly math, science, PE, and Bible. As much as I loved teaching grade five, I enjoyed junior high even more.
I have been principal of AKCS for two years now, succeeding our founding principal, Brian Hazeltine. This has been a time of tremendous challenge and growth, with a continually steep learning curve. Only God and His wisdom and patience will guide me through.
I am married to Laura who also teaches at AKCS, offering a cooking class option to the grade 10-12 students. We have three children, all of whom attend AKCS.
Together we attend Airdrie Alliance Church where we are taught the Word of God and are challenged to practically follow Christ.
God fills our cup to overflowing and we can honestly say, "Blessed be the name of the Lord"!
