My employment with AKCS officially began in February, 2006, in the capacity of Receptionist/Bus driver. I had to give that up, however, as answering the phones while driving the bus became hazardous to us all!
It's a tremendous blessing to work at the same place your children spend their day. Both of my sons, Jimmy and Johnny have spent their entire educational career so far at AKCS, and truly couldn't even imagine going anywhere else.
God has gifted me with an extraordinary husband, Jim, who also is deeply involved with the school at the Board level. Although, both Jim & I grew up on farms in Saskatchewan, we have called Airdrie home for nearly twenty years.
To serve God through His calling on my life is my greatest ambition. To do it all for His glory - my greatest challenge. To know He loves me in spite of my shortcomings - my greatest gift.
