Koinonia (pronounced Coin-o-nee-ah) is the Greek word from the New Testament that means fellowship and sharing. It refers to what we have in common as believers in Christ.
Airdrie Koinonia Christian School (AKCS) exists to provide children with an education which will enable them to know, love and effectively serve Jesus Christ in the world.

AKCS Alumnus and 2nd Generation Parent
A Biblical view matters because it provides direction and a purpose to living.
Of most importance for me, is that I have been able to develop leadership, organizational and communication skills and more importantly, serve God in a simple, yet effective way.
It is evident that the hand of God moves through this school in magnificent ways. The Board, staff and parents of AKCS have dedicated themselves to seeking the Will of God in every decision, regardless of size.
